Just got the line-up for this years Newport Folk Festival. July 28-29, the line-up will include some ridiculously amazing bands, such as My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst, Iron & Wine, tUnE-YarDs, the Tallest Man On Earth, and the Head And The Heart. Don’t know if I’ll be able to make it clear across the country, to Rhode Island, the state furthest from Fresno, CA. But anyone close should get their tickets now. Check the full lin-up below.

Seattle’s the Head and the Heart

Seattle is stereotyped for being the original grunge capital of the world, however this past summer I was introduced to the soothing sounds of “the Head and the Heart”, and am still blown away 7 months later by their harmonious, well-crafted tone. Great music to listen to in the car to take your mind off the stress of the traffic, or enjoy while taking a hike through the mountains. Take a listen and go to their web page for more details on upcoming shows. http://www.theheadandtheheart.com/
