The entire video is shot in an elevator, which might not sound so interesting, but take a look because it is. Also, if you have a chance, I recommend seeing Here We Go Magic in concert, check the dates below…
It’s going to be a great few days out in Chicago this weekend with Lollapalooza 2012 going on. If you’re stuck at home or working, like me click on the link below to stream the full festival. Here’s the schedule. STREAM LOLLAPALOOZA 2012
Wish I could go to this festival, with a line up to include Neko Case, Blitzen Trapper, Dr. Dog, Gordan Gano, Todd Snider, Mynabirds, Thee Oh Sees and Robert Ellis and more. The venue sounds quite interesting, actually damn amazing, up in Oregon, in Pendarvis Farm. After looking at some videos and pics from last year’s festival, the stages seem to be placed in some of the most magical spots amongst the forest the lies in Pedarvis Farm, just unreal. Tickets are pretty reasonable at $190 for the weekend, including camping, but it’s only 10 days away, so you should get your tickets soon if you plan to go. Click here for the schedule
Yes, you read it correctly, there will in fact be a Coachella at Sea. Two cruises are scheduled to sail across the ocean with a lineup of bands/DJs to accompany this voyage, one to The Bahamas (3 days), and the other to Jamaica (4 days). With an eclectic lineup that all will enjoy, this is due to be one of the most epic concerts known to man. Some people say “cruises aren’t for them”, or “cruises are so boring”, well if you can afford this party of all parties, I would reconsider these assumptions, because this could and may be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Yes, I believe (unless this becomes an annual event), that seeing such an amazing concert out on the open ocean would be a once in a lifetime experience. They’ve got Girl Talk, Sleigh Bells, Hot Chip, and James Murphy, as well as El-P and Killer Mike, who just released R.A.P. Music (Killer Mike‘s new album, produced by El-P), one of the best albums this year… so you know you’re in for a treat once the S.S. Coachella sets sail… and my guess, but since you will be on a boat, you’re bound to see some of the artists in person, because they don’t have anywhere else to go before and after they play their set… just sayin’. See above poster for more artists that will be on the ship, and keep an eye out for more surprises to be added to the lineup in the near future. S.S. Coachella Dates: December 16-19 December 19-23
Early next month, August 8-12, The Gathering Of The Juggalos Festival, will return to Cave-In-Rock, Illinois, for 4 full days of music, comedy, and loads of entertainment. The festival will have some amazing rock bands from the 90 and early 2000’s, along with a long list of hip-hop artists from the past and present. Check out the full lineup below, as well as watch the promo video for the festival (it’s quite entertaining in itself).
